How is a GoBag different from an Everyday Carry (EDC)?
An EDC is a collection of small, useful items you carry every day—like a flashlight, multitool, or pocketknife. A GoBag is larger, designed for emergency use and includes food, water, shelter, and more.

How often should I update or rotate my GoBag?
Every 6 months is a good rule of thumb. Replace expired food, test your gear, update seasonal clothing, and make adjustments based on changes in your environment or family needs.

What kind of bag should I use for my GoBag?
Use a durable backpack that distributes weight evenly and can withstand rugged conditions. Tactical or hiking backpacks with MOLLE webbing and multiple compartments are ideal.

Should each member of my household have their own GoBag?
Yes. Each person—including children—should have a personalized GoBag that fits their needs and physical capabilities.

What if I choose to stay home during a disaster?
